Desmocoll® - The simple solution for good adhesion

The trade name Desmocoll® stands for a number of hydroxy-polyester-polyurethanes for the production of solvent based adhesive systems. The adhesives are formulated by solubilizing the granules in organic solvents. The majority of Desmocoll®-based adhesives are used for thermoactivated systems. The adhesives show excellent adhesion to a large number of different substrates, including plastisizer containing PVC. Desmocoll® adhesives can be used alone (as a one-component system) or in combination with Desmodur® R isocyanate crosslinkers (as a two-component system).

Different Desmocoll® grades show different crystallization rates and viscosities in solution. The wide product range allows the selection of a suitable Desmocoll® grade for a large number of adhesive applications.
