Polyurethane corrosion protection – Lasting protection for valuable steel structures

High-quality polyurethane coatings significantly improve the corrosion resistance of steel, which is important when it comes to ensuring longevity and safety of expensive investment objects, in particular:

Pipe coatings
  • Exterior pipe coatings
  • Interior pipe coatings (oil, gas, water, chemicals)
  • Interior coatings of pressure pipes
Marine Coatings
  • Ships
  • Offshore platforms
Structural Engineering
  • Industrial equipment
  • Conveyor systems
  • Bridges, cranes, pylons
  • Other Steel structures
Hydraulic Engineering
  • Port facilities, sheet pile walls
  • Watergates, docks

In general, multi-layer coating systems are applied and they have to meet specific standards. Polyurethane coatings meet these high requirements in a perfect way.

Pergut® is Bayer MaterialScience’s trade name for chlorinated rubber in heavy-duty corrosion protection, which is distributed by.

Polyaspartics are the latest development for corrosion protection. They cure faster and allow thicker film layers, which makes the application of high-quality coatings faster and more simple.
