Crelan® crosslinkers for high-quality powder coating systems


With the Crelan® product range Bayer MaterialScience offers a series of crosslinkers for polyurethane powder coating systems. Crelan® is supplied in flakes that are handled and formulated easily.

The Crelan® product range is based on the aliphatic diisocyanates IPDI and Desmodur® W and covers:
  • Blocking-agent-free polyisocyanate hardeners based on uretdions for clear coat and pigmented coating systems. These products are suitable for polyurethane powder coatings with oustanding optical properties and good weather resistance.
  • Blocked polyisocyanates releasing caprolactam during the crosslinking reaction. They result in powder coatings with outstanding surface qualities, high flexibility and excellent weather and chemical resistance.
  • Specialty hardeners for matte coatings with flexible grades of gloss.

Non of the Crelan® hardeners required particular labeling due to regulatory requirements.
