Polyurethane based coatings for balcony flooring give humidity no chance

When it comes to providing reliable abrasion resistance and weather protection to concrete floors or tiled areas on balconies and terraces the use of polyurethane coatings could be the solution for both new developments and renovation projects. The properties of these coatings are:

When formulated with Desmodur and Desmophen raw materials, polyurethane coatings help to preserve for the appearance of the coated floors for many years, and ensure that the surfaces remain sealed. Above all, their highly elastic character, even at very low temperatures, prevents the ingress of water into the structure. Upstands and drainages remain tightly bound into the waterproofing membrane.
